The beginning of Dr. Top’s journey as a speaker at academic conferences around the world did not come from a desire for fame, but from the belief that “success means nothing if we do not know how to give it back.” Dr. Top believes that good medical knowledge should not be limited to textbooks or classrooms only, but should be shared and “broken down” into an easy-to-understand form, so that other physicians can apply it in treating patients with maximum effectiveness and reduce treatment errors as much as possible.
Nanofat Innovation: Recognition from the United States and France
The key innovation that Dr. Top has presented at academic conferences worldwide is Nanofat, a regenerative hair medicine technique that uses the patient’s own fat, processed to obtain fat molecules of very small size, and then injected into problem areas of the scalp. This helps restore weakened hair follicle cells to become stronger again and slows down hair loss in the long term. Performing Nanofat in combination with hair transplantation can help increase the survival rate of transplanted hair grafts and enhance the strength of newly grown hair so that it lasts longer and remains healthier.

In 2025, he was invited to lecture on the selection of appropriate graft-punching tools, whether using an implanter pen, a sapphire blade, or the traditional stick and place technique.
In Asia, Dr. Top traveled to share FUE techniques at the 104th JSAS conference in Japan, which is considered the country of origin of hair follicle cell
transplantation. This also includes his connection with South Korea, where he completed a fellowship at KCCS. Dr. Top continues to remember Dr. Kim, the first mentor who taught him hair follicle transplantation techniques, which became the essential foundation that Dr. Top has further developed up to the present.
